Gun-Runner Gets His Due

Gerry Bull Gerry was originally from Canada.

He went to the University of Toronto, where he quickly established
himself as Canada's leading authority on Aerodynamics.

He worked on various Canadian weapons
during W.W.III, including an air-to-air missile.

He did important research on the heat shields
used on ICBM warheads, to keep them from being
incinerated when they reenter the Earth's atmosphere.

Over the course of his work, he had become the
leading expert on artillery shell ballistics and sabots.

If you had a problem w/ your artillery, he was the man to call.

During the Second Indo-China War he again used the sabot,
this time to increase the range of the U.S. Navy's 5 in. guns.

They had been getting out distanced by the new Soviet 130mm
artillery pieces being deployed by the N. Vietnamese.

After the war, he helped numerous U.S.-supported
dictators solve their artillery problems.

Usually, he used advanced milling techniques to perfect the artillery
shell bodies, but he also perfected the Base Bleed system.

His work was considered so important that the U.S. gave him citizenship.

He quickly set up shop in the U.S. near the Canadian
border. He actually had his own road across the border
connecting his home in the U.S. w/ his home in Canada.

It had it's own border crossing check point.

In the late 70's, he got involved w/ the CIA/Mossad,
and began working on a project to increase
the range of S. Africa's 155mm artillery.

This led to the creation of the G-6.

It, and the Chinese, used his GC-45.

Bull then became involved w/ Saddam Hussein.

He worked at Saddam's U.S.-supplied rocket base in
Mosul, to increase the range of Iraq's SCUD missiles,
based on Werner Von Braun's V-2 design.

He also tried an effort to produce a 'super gun'
that could launch a projectile into space.

It was based on experience from H.A.R.P.

He also worked on a 210 mm version of the G-6 for Saddam.

Fortunately, someone (rumor has it Israel's Mossad)
put several bullets into the back of Gerry Bull's head
before he could complete his work for Saddam.
