Drug Scandal

Clinton did nothing about drugs for his first 4 yrs. in office.
He actually allowed a cocaine dealer into the
White House in exchange for a campaign 'donation'.

Public pressure finally moved him to spend $$$ on
radar flights made by Peruvian and DEA planes.

In return for Peru's support, Clinton turned a blind eye
to some of South America's worst human rights violations.

Torture, murder and bribery ensued.
We even helped in the capture of several rebel leaders.

The trick worked, but the drug dealers
just moved into Colombia and Venezuela.

Simmering, Colombian tension erupted into civil war as
native rebels were used by the drug lords to protect crops.

Huge Russian IL-76 transports flew AK-47s in to the drug lords.
Weapons came from Russia, Bulgaria, Albania
Ukraine, China, Jordan, etc., etc.

Weapons were transferred to the drug lords, natives and right wing death squads.

The flights were picked up on radar but nothing was done to stop them.

Native collaboration w/ drug lords was then used as an
excuse to step up the never ending war against them.

The native cause interfered w/ Al Gore's oil and mining activities.

Russia eventually sold SA-2s and RPGs to the drug lords.
As drug use led to an AIDS explosion.

One of the SA-7s was used to Shoot Down A U.S. Radar Plane.
As far as I know, the crew is still MIA.
