Interesting blurb below. I wonder how the "bridge" got thru Africa?

A skull of a prehistoric crocodile found in Brazil is shown during
a press conference at Rio's Federal University in Rio de Janeiro,
2/16/05, along with a painting depicting the creature.
A unique, nearly complete fossilized skeleton of a prehistoric crocodile
found in Brazil allowed scientists to claim there was a 'bridge '
between South America and Madagascar about 70 million years ago.
Measuring up to 10 ft and weighing about 660 lbs, Uberabasuchus was
smaller than some existing crocodiles, but probably a more notable predator.

The AP/Yahoo blurb above failed to mention all the plants
and animals that are going extinct as you read this.
