The head of the team of journalists that
ran Russia's last
independent national television station,
Yevgeny Kiselyov

Kiselyov's team of
journalists has set itself
a task almost unprecedented in Russia:
creating a broadcasting company that can't be manipulated
by the government
or by
the politically powerful
media moguls who have dominated the industry.
Kiselyov hopes to attract as many as 30 investors so
no one
person can use the station for his or own political purposes.
