STRYKER teams
This much touted Army brigade is built
around a new 19-ton,
8-wheeled infantry carrier armed with a
heavy gun.
Heralded for their ability to be flown into combat
quickly, these Stryker
teams have been training at Fort Lewis,
Wash., for two years.
These teams come in variants including armored
combat, mortar carrying
units, anti-aircraft,
nuclear-chemical-biological units and others.
They also operate
their own new surveillance drones,
the Shadow Tactical Unmanned
Aerial Vehicle System.
