The Usual

Below is a summary of an article that failed to mention the POW/MIAs.

Also failed to note that seismologists recorded the
disturbance to the earth's crust and that it showed China
had achieved a major upgrade of it's nuclear capability.

Wash. D.C. rumor mill has it that they have a warhead that's "as good as ours".
(Gee. I wonder if Reagan sold it to them?)

WORLD MORATORIUM
ON NUCLEAR TESTS IS
BROKEN BY CHINA

N.Y. Times 10/5/93

China detonates a nuclear warhead in the western desert of Xinjiang province.

Clinton says, “the U.S. deeply regrets this action”,
but he still refuses to pass economic sanctions.

Instead Clinton threatens to resume America’s nuclear tests.

(Who would have guessed he would choose the option that
has the best chance of leading to another arms race?)

The test threatened to undermine an indefinite extension of the Nuclear
Non-Proliferation Treaty and negotiations for a comprehensive test ban treaty.

Clinton's friend Wang Jun was involved in the
acquisition of the materials needed for the test.

(Oh well! We wouldn’t want a little thing like a
Nuke' to stand in the way of trade would we?)
