Mauritanians continue with daily life as they await the final
results of Friday's presidential
elections to be announced in
the Mauritanian capital Nouakchott Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003.

Arab-dominated nation on Saturday, the government declared

defeating a challenger backed by Islamic conservatives and
