Explosions hit Baghdad

A day after the suspected shooting down of a U.S. helicopter killed 16 soldiers,
three mortar shells or rockets hit central Baghdad today, one of them striking
 an U.S. Army camp, a coalition spokesman said. No injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, bystanders were killed when a bomb went off in the
Shiite Muslim holy city of Karbala, the U.S. military reported.
