The 1/23/04 AP/Yahoo blurb below is amazing because
it was the lead picture in the "photo" news section.
Most of the U.S. media thought the Mars idiocy was more important.
Didn't bother to say where the
landmines came from though.

donating new prototype equipment used for
humanitarian demining operations in
Las Canoas, Choluteca, 188 km
(117 miles) south from Tegucigalpa,
Honduras, on Thursday, 1/22/04.
Since 1995 until 2003 the Alfa Command
have found and destroyed
some 2.189 land mines, as part of this program in the
country.
