Our 'Allies' In Turkey Are Still Using U.S. Weapons To Whack Iraqi Kurds

NATO Is Even Trying To Finalize The
Takeover Of Algeria That Began In 1992

But the most ridiculous episode came when
Clinton called for Russia's future entry into NATO.

Since, the Russian 'threat' is the only 'legitimate' excuse for expansion,
their entry would automatically make NATO obsolete.

A typical Jane's blurb below.

Failed to note that the same countries selling to Greece
are also selling to their main enemy the Turks.

Eurofighter Typhoon fighter aircraft: 15 March
The Greek government confirmed last week that it is to buy 60 and possibly as
many as 90 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter aircraft under a minimum DM10 billion
($5 billion) deal spearheaded by DaimlerChrysler Aerospace (Dasa) of Germany.
Athens first announced its intention to acquire the aircraft early last year
(Jane's Defence Weekly 17 February 1999).
The 7 March contract to equip the Hellenic Air Force (HAF) with
the multirole Typhoon  marks the first export success for the design,
which is still under development by Eurofighter GmbH
for Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK.
The first production aircraft are expected to enter service in 2002.
