Napalm Protest
During the Second Indo-China War, many people around
the world became disgusted w/ the indiscriminate
use of Napalm in S.E. Asia by the U.S.

Many boycotted Dow products and some
shareholders sold their company stocks.

Napalm, at the height of the Vietnam war accounted
for 0.5% of Dow’s $1.4 billion in annual sales.

Despite public pressure Dow continued to sell Napalm for the
U.S. govt. bombing of Indo-China, until the contract was
given to the American Electric Co., of L.A. Cal., in 1969.

Unfortunately, when the war was over the protests ended.
Napalm was never banned and has continued to be the weapon
of choice for people like Saddam Hussein to use against civilians.
