Visitors to Tokyo's MeSci, or the national museum of
Emerging Science and Innovation, walk around Mars projected
on the surface of Geo-Cosmos, a sphere with a diameter
of 6.5 m (21 ft), Thursday, Aug. 14, 2003 in Tokyo.
The MeSci switches the image on the sphere to Mars once or
twice a day by using one million light-emitting diodes (LEDs).
Mars will be the closest to Earth on Aug. 27 in years.
