To tell the truth, I'm glad Natives had rifles to defend themselves,
I'm just trying to point out how evil our govt. can be.
Selling rifles to the people you are slaughtering,
is something even the evil Adolf Hitler never did.

Almost from the first day that Europeans
came to the new world,
weapons began 'finding' their way to the Native Americans.
Of course, the Natives weren't happy to see their land being stolen, so
they eventually attacked (often only after they were themselves attacked)
white settlements w/ the weapons the Europeans had sold them.
The Hudson Bay Fur Co. was notorious for trading rifles
for furs to Natives that were obviously angry at the whites.
As soon as they attacked, the Hudson Bay Co. would ask the
U.S. govt. to destroy the Natives, so they could control
the land and not have to worry about the Natives.
One of the biggest scandals during U.S. Grant's time as President was
the sale of rifles to various Indian tribes by government employees,
while the govt. was sending black soldiers out to destroy them.
Iran/Contra was not an aberration.
