Fruita - A Vietnam-era Huey helicopter is making rounds
in Grand
Junction and Fruita on the back of a flatbed trailer.
The UH-1H
helicopter will be the centerpiece of a new war memorial
to be inscribed
with the names of up to 300,000 veterans.
The memorial at the Fruita
visitors center, about 250 miles
west of Denver, is scheduled to open in
July 2003.
