Didn't bother to mention that we may never have gotten into the war if
politicians hadn't believed that choppers would give U.S. the ability to win.
(Not to mention that they hoped to cash in on
kick-backs from the contracts for their production.)

Fruita - A Vietnam-era Huey helicopter is making rounds
in Grand Junction and Fruita on the back of a flatbed trailer.
The UH-1H helicopter will be the centerpiece of a new war memorial
to be inscribed with the names of up to 300,000 veterans.
The memorial at the Fruita visitors center, about 250 miles
west of Denver, is scheduled to open in July 2003.
