A primary reason for America's defeat in Vietnam was it's reliance on this helicopter.

Too slow and lightly armored to deal w/ the massive quantities of Soviet
weapons that flooded into Vietnam, it doomed the U.S. effort from the start.
Of course, DoD actually thought it was the key to victory.
