Woman Denies Running Down Trooper - (AUGUSTA, MAINE)
A Westbrook woman accused of running down a Maine State trooper
while being chased by other officers says she's NOT guilty.
Lynda Drake pleaded NOT guilty to new charges of
elevated aggravated assault during her arraignment yesterday.
She remains in custody at the Kennebec County Jail.
Drake had already been charged with aggravated assault and drunk driving.
Trooper Shayne Northrup reportedly hopes to finish his
slow recovery and be back on the road by spring.
