TOW

I got these photos from Army-technology.com.

The system consists of a tripod, traversing unit,
missile guidance set, launch tube, optical sight, battery
assembly, and any of the five missile variations.

The system also includes a thermal sight for
night operations or in reduced visibility.

TOW can be fired from the ground using a
tripod-mounted launch tube or installed on vehicles.

They can be fitted as a single-tube pedestal mount on military vehicles
like the HMMWV or as 2-tube or 4-tube under-armor systems on:
Improved TOW Vehicle M901, Desert Warrior, Piranha,
US Marine Corps LAV, Dardo Hitfist and Bradley M2/M3.

Airborne TOWs are used in more than 13 countries.
Over 2,100 units have been delivered and are used on:
AgustaWestland Lynx, AgustaWestland A129, Bell Textron 206L,
UH-1 Huey, Hughes 500MD helicopter, Eurocopter Bo 105
and Bell Textron AH-1 Cobra Attack Helicopter.
