$$$ scandal revolving around the AK-47 imports.
And, that Kerry refuses to bring it up in his lame TV ads.

The powerful U.S. gun lobby seems poised for victory in a high profile  battle to
end a ban on some assault weapons and experts say it has also been piling up
numerous quiet victories at the state level. A federal ban on certain military-
style semi-automatic weapons enacted in 1994 is due to expire on 9/13/04.
The Republican congressional leadership, backed by the National Rifle
Association (NRA) and other gun groups, seems determined to allow
the law to lapse. Andreas Piazza, 10, of Palatka, Florida, aims a
Bushmaster Rifle at the Annual NRA meeting in Orlando,
Florida in this April 26 file photo.
