1994
Francisco Martin Duran went to the White House
with a Chinese-made SKS assault rifle and fired
over a dozen rounds at the White House.
He didn't injure or kill anyone because he was impatient.
If he had waited he could have easily killed
a member of the White House Press Corps.,
Cabinet, or the President's family.
Knowing this you would expect the President to do everything
in his power to keep Chinese assault rifles out of the
hands of people like Francisco Martin Duran.
But, he hasn't because he would not want to alienate
the China/Russia lobby which doesn't want the
POW/MIA issue to get in the way of trade.
So Clinton has decided to allow the sale of weapons
made in countries that won't account for US POW's
Even though he has already had his family
fired at by an idiot using one of these weapons.
Isn't nice to know that the profit making ability of people who
trade with countries that won't account for POWs is more
important than the safety of America's children?
More important than our POW/MIAs and their families.
Even more important than the safety of the President's daughter.
I wonder if the President let Chelsea in on this little secret?
At least the President is an equal opportunity sacrificer of life.
Most Presidents aren't willing to sacrifice their family's safety.
Most are only willing to sacrifice the average American.
During the 96' Presidential campaign I conducted a 60 hunger strike
in an attempt to get Clinton to make the public statement in support
of a law to ban the sale and importation of SKS assault rifles
like the one used by Francisco Duran.
Not only did he refuse, but he made numerous misleading statements about
the 1994 Assault Weapon 'Ban', which he knows didn't ban a single assault rifle.
