The Nixon Admin. supported the Portuguese
use of napalm against civilians in Central Africa.
The Carter Admin. encouraged Gerry Bull
to sell
artillery to the S. Africans in
an effort to keep
the 'Communists'
from taking Central Africa.
The sales violated a UN embargo.
The Reagan Admin continued to support
the racist, white minority dominated govt.
of S. Africa because of it's vast supply
of minerals used in the auto-industry.
Every other president before him did too.
Even after the American public and private organizations
started one of the biggest boycott efforts in U.S. history
to oppose the racist apartheid govt.
The U.S. govt. has waged a decades long
crusade against the spread of Islamic Fundamentalism
in North Africa to maintain control of oil deposits
in Libya and Algeria.
1994
U.S. President George Bush sent U.S. forces
to Somalia to secure the country as part of an
effort to end all Russian influence in the region.
Publicly, Bush claimed he was only reacting to
U.S. public outcry over the starvation of Ethiopians.
Since the alleged end of W.W. III, the U.S has
continued to cooperate w/ murderous dictators
like Laurent Kabila, and Nigeria's military junta.
Kabila has obstructed UN War Crime Tribunal
investigations of the slaughter of Rwandan refugees,
but Dollar Bill had coffee w/ him during
his 1998 trip to Africa.
Clinton received $$$ from Maurice Tempelsman
who wants access to Kabila's diamond mines.
Royal Dutch Shell Oil Co. encouraged
Nigerian officials to execute Ken Saro-Wiwi,
and several others who opposed their
control and devastation of the country, in 1996.
Dollar Bill couldn't even bring himself
to publicly oppose the executions.
All, so the U.S. citizen doesn't have to car-pool to work.
And that's just a few of the examples. |
