youths who took part in an initiation ceremony marking their
transition
from childhood to adulthood in Mpumalanga, 200km (124 miles)
northeast
of Johannesburg, South Africa 7/27/06. After two months of
seclusion,
150 new initiates went back to their homes to assume responsibility
in the community. This ceremony takes place after every four years.
